Danyelle Taylor is a judge for the 24th Judicial District in Louisiana. Taylor defeated Thomas P. Anzelmo, Jr. in the 2014 election. Her term will expire on December 31, 2024. Danyelle Taylor has twenty-five years of legal experience. From 1989 she worked as a paralegal until graduating from law school in 1996. Since that time, she has worked in private practice in the areas of family law, criminal law and personal injury.  Taylor received a B.A. in government from Nicholls State University in 1991 and a J.D. degree from the Loyola University New Orleans Law School in 1996.
