Darren Roy was a 2014 candidate for the 34th Judicial District in Louisiana. Roy received a bachelor’s degree in business from Louisiana State University in 1989 and a J.D. degree from the Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in 1993. Roy is a prosecutor at the St. Bernard District Attorney’s Office. He began there in 1994. He has also been an instructor of paralegal classes at Nunez Community College.
