Elizabeth A. Pickett is a judge on the Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeal. She was elected to this position in 1997 and re-elected in 2002 and 2012. Her current term expires on December 31, 2022.

Judge Pickett was born in Sabine Parish. She graduated from Tulane Law School in 1984. When she was first elected to the 11th District Judicial Court in 1990, she replaced her father, who was the second of three generations that have served in Louisiana courts.

From 1984 to 1990, Judge Pickett ran a private law practice in Sabine. She also served as an Assistant District Attorney for the 11th Judicial District Court. When her father retired from judging on the 11th Judicial District, she ran for his seat. She was elected a District Judge in 1990 and held that position until 1997.

Pickett was re-elected after running unopposed in 2012.
